Tsuno Daishi, the Great Horned Master — a figure that is believed to protect from sickness and evil — is highlighted on the lateral heel through purple embroidery, and his horns have been substituted with Nike Swooshes. If you slip out the insoles, you’ll notice that artwork from Utagawa Kuniyoshi is plastered on them in all-over fashion. It features his “Kintoki Throwing Beans at Fleeing Demon” piece that displays the folk hero Kintarō. Elsewhere on the kicks, the kicks are prepared with toe boxes and quarters that have cobblestone-like patterns, double stacked purple and brown Swooshes and dark brown overlays.
